My Lord Murray is retired from this contrey, all the Athol men have left them saive Strathevel. Achintully and Baron Read [of] Straloch and they will nt byd my doun to morou. The rest of the heritors will be here to morou. They will joyn us and I suppose to morou you will have an answer.

        So if you have a mynd to preserve your self and to serve the King be in arms tomorou that when the letter comes you may be here in a day. All the world will be with us blised be god I am Sir your most humle servant         Dundie
