Corp. Samuel McPherson -- Major Grant of Culbin's Co., aged 29, son of Donald of Crubin and Mary of Nuide; enlisted at Castle Grant in 1736; alleged "ringleader"

Corp. Malcolm McPherson -- Colonel's Co., aged 30, son of Angus of Druminard; enlisted in Lord Lovat's Co. in 1735; alleged "ringleader". Lovat promised, 25 February 1743, to get him "his discharge if he inclines it, but it will be for his interest to keep it till the Regiment is going to march".
