The brass plate above Sgt Stewart McPherson's medals states that they were 'Presented to the Seaforth Highlander Regimental Association by Mrs Housma Murray, daughter of the late Colour Sergt Stewart McPherson, July 1943'. The medals are now on display in the Fort George Museum near Inverness.
