Pipe Major Chris MacPherson became a CMA Life Member many years ago and regularly plays for the England & Wales Branch of our Association. However, he has only been able to attend the Clan Gathering once when the London Scottish Pipe Band led the Clan March many years ago. Other times his Territorial Army pipe band commitments have prevented attending.
Chris was Pipe Major of the London Scottish Regiment whose hodden gray 'tartan' kilt he is wearing in the photograph. He has the distinction of being the last 'Personal Piper to HM The Queen Mother' - she was Honorary Colonel of the London Scottish for over 65 years.
