Born in 1980 in Sydney, Daniel was a triathlete prior to becoming an actor. He landed the role of Joe Samuels in the popular soap opera Neighbours starting in 1998.
In the same year he was voted Most Dateable Guy in Australia by readers of Dolly magazine, following that up with a Logie for Most Popular New Male Talent in 1999.
He appears regularly on stage and film, including the part of PC Cameron in the British drama The Bill.
