The traditional leaders of the Clan Macpherson are shown here (l-r) -- Euan Macpherson of Glentruim (deceased), Sir William A. Macpherson of Cluny and Blairgowrie and M. Alastair F. Macpherson of Pitmain. The chief of the clan wears three feathers in his bonnet while the two chieftains wear two feathers each. Thus, the sum of seven feathers all told. A third chieftain representing the Invereshie branch is not present. The Glentruim Branch is now represented by Euan's son, Lachlan.
