Olive Ann Ormiston resided in the Badenoch for many years before becoming Curator. She is a Macpherson in her own right having been named after her paternal grandmother, Ann Currie. Her cheerful nature and 'people' skills were important attributes that made a visit to the Museum a memorable event. The photograph shows her in front of the Museum transformed for its appearance as the Glenbogle Post Office and Tea Room for several episodes of the BBC TV series, Monarch of the Glen. It's interesting to recall that Norman Macpherson's contract with the Association specifically allowed him to operate a tea room on the premises in addition to his curatorial duties. There is no record of this option being exercised.
