The arms are a "differenced version of the Arms granted to Lord Drumalbyn's uncle, Baron Strathcarron. Each silver square of the chequered "fess" is charged with an ermine spot and the shield is surrounded by a silver border.
Crest :"sejant upon a mount of white heather a cat-a-mountain proper, its dexter paw in a guardant posture. White heather is one of the plant badges of the Clan Macpherson.

Supporters: dexter --a Cameron Highlander; sinister -- an Ayrshire bull proper. Lord Drumalbyn served in the Cameron Highlanders as a major during WW II; he represented the dairying county of Dumfries-shire in the Parliament for 18 years.
